Cory received his Master’s Degree from John Brown University and holds dual licensure as a Licensed Associate Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
Cory believes in the power of creating a secure relationship with his clients where they feel comfortable enough to bring up any problem without the fear of being judged. As a marriage and family therapist, his hope is to help each couple and family overcome the unique struggles that they face. He has a desire to help clients recognize and appreciate the valuable qualities that each person contributes to the relationship. he works to help clients understand how their differences can be the building blocks and a foundation of comfort, strength, and peace. Cory’s aspirations for individual clients is for each one to reach their personal, relational, and life ambitions through achieving mental health and wellbeing.
Cory provides counseling services for individuals, couples, and adolescents struggling with life issues such as: sobriety, anxiety, depression, anger control, pain management, relational conflict, and grief. Cory utilizes EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) with adolescents and adults experiencing adverse effects from grief or other painful life experiences. He implements Solution Focused and Cognitive Behavioral Therapeutic strategies to effectively assist clients in finding direction to resolving their problems.
