Aubrey specializes in play therapy, family, and individual work. She has worked with a range of issues including difficult life transitions, anxiety, struggling interpersonal relationships, self-esteem issues, and depression. Aubrey describes her approach as collaborative; ensuring therapeutic goals are developed together from the beginning and maintained throughout the process. She’s also aware of the importance of being flexible to better meet the needs of her clients.
Aubrey believes therapeutic change begins with developing healthy connections. In play therapy, Aubrey prioritizes work between both child and parent- child relationships to ensure therapeutic change extends outside the therapy room. She utilizes a range of indirect and direct techniques to encourage the child’s progression towards growth.
In individual work, Aubrey believes that by fostering a sense of belonging she may encourage her clients to process their emotions in a safe and neutral environment. She provides unique tools and techniques to her clients with the goal of reaching personal and interpersonal reconnection.
In her spare time, Aubrey enjoys going on walks with her husband and dogs, exploring new restaurants, listening to podcasts, and spending time with her family.
