Haley Nelson holds a Master’s degree from John Brown University and is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) in the state of Arkansas (#A2302001).
Haley is committed to helping adults and families build healthy connections and patterns that lead to true healing. Her work focuses on addressing the effects of trauma through targeting maladaptive coping mechanisms and cognitions and exploring the mind-body connection. She is trained in EMDR and believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship. She takes a collaborative approach to helping clients reach their goals.
She works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, addiction and other trauma or attachment-related issues. Haley is passionate about helping overwhelmed parents experience personal healing and wholeness as they seek to parent confidently and in supporting postpartum moms through the transition into parenthood.
Haley values authenticity, vulnerability, connection, and hope. She especially enjoys spending time in nature with her husband, children, and dogs. She believes in the transformative effects of a shared meal, good conversation, laughter, and rest.
